Grades - 前期

Well, I'm still working on organizing my picture album, but it's harder than I thougt it'd be. So, no new pics today. I hope to show some soon...

In the meantime, I got my first term grades. They're better than I expected.

日本語・日本文化I(The Japanese Language and Culture I)： A

英語RDI(English - Reading and Discussion I)： A+
ドイツ語I (German I)： A
情報処理演習I (Exercise in Information Processing I)： A
工業経済学 (Industrial Economics)： A
電子回路I (Electronic Circuits I)： A+

Well, the big surpise is Electronic Circuits. I wasn't even expecting to pass, since I couldn't even understand some questions (although I admit that the AmpOp question was really easy). I should thank the sensei's kindness in trying to understand all the stupid things I wrote, and my teachers in Brazil. Guess I was well taught... (Yes, I've studied that before coming to Japan...)

Surprise number two is Japanese. Although I was keeping up with the homework and some small tests, I was pretty sure that I screwed the last test up, so probably a C or B...

While I passed Industrial Economics, I wish my Japanese were better, so I could understand this class completely. It seemed interesting from what I could grasp.

The disappointment was Information Processing. It was much like some computer school class teaching Word, Excel, HTML... (I took this one to get used to japanese computers and because I thought I had to take it in order to take the second part, which is a little more interesting) I was expecting a A+ here. Maybe I used too many quotations at the first report...

Still, as I said earlier, the grades were way better than I expected. After I came to Japan and commented that was unable to understand much in classes my sister started teasing me saying that I left my intelligenge back in Brazil and now she owns it (and she seems to be doing well this year). Guess I still have some of it... (and your performance is due to my absence, so you may study without being disturbed, hehe...).

I hope I can keep up that good performance. This time I'll take some difficult classes, including one that, according to what I was told, half the students usually fail (of course I discovered that after I registered). Since I'm not fluent in Japanese I wonder how are my chances... Well, I'm going to figure it out the hard way...
